Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 15:13:57 .......not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but feel free to remove if it has, but it seems to me quite significant that a consortium, which includes two of our more recent chairman....have bought a chunk of land( 7 acres) and a stadium at Hunt's Copse....for use by Supermarine.
Could this be the start of the end game for football at the CG.....we know without redevelopment the club goes to the wall, but will the aforementioned gentlemen, step in and try and keep the name alive....and work back through the pyramid, it would certainly be an option. It would be like the Macari years all over again.

Some sporting facilities (one of those big inflatable tents to create an indoor training arena on grass I believe, think West Brom have one) and some community facilities.
