Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: Kinky Tom on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 09:21:58 My house is haunted, so they say. It's about 180 years old.
In fact I once heard what sounded like a man pulling a girl through our yard at night, she was screaming her arse off, when I looked there was nothing there. Apparently a guy comes through with a horse and cart sometimes too, but I've never seen of heard him. Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: timmyg on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 09:33:47 When I was at uni, one of mates woke up at 4am to find a little girl sitting on the end of his bed. He reckons she was about 8 years old and dressed in a white gown and was just staring at him with a blank expression. He shat himself and sat up in the bed pulling the duvet with him, but she didn't move and just kept staring. He was proper shitting it when she said 'Hello?' and he screamed like, quite appropriately, a little girl. When his mate came in and turned on the light ther was nothing there but my mate was proper shitted up and didn't spend another night in that room.
We took the piss ruthlessly but IF it was true then I'd be prett scared too... Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: yeo on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 09:38:19 Little kid ghosts are the scariest.

Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: Titch on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 09:57:07 I beleive i have seen a ghost although i do still question myself.
I stopped off at a services and was washing my hands and in the mirror was a man just stood next to me staring straight at me. I looked all around and i was the only person in the toilets yet this man was in the mirror looking at me. Even when i went to dry my hands he was still in the mirror looking straight at me. I must admit i was incredibly scared at the time but I still did not really believe what i saw. I went home and told my mum and nan and when i described the man to them they said that was my Grandad who died when my mum was little. I had never even seen a picture of him before. My nan believes he came to give me support cause i was having trouble at the time. I struggle to accept this but I have never been able to come up with another solution. So i have to accept i think that is probably was a ghost. Still sends shivers down my spine to this day and this was about 7 years ago. Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: STFCBird on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 10:28:27 That is something similar to what happened to me. I saw my cousin stood in my room looking out of the window, 5 years or so after he died! he got killed a week before his 21st Birthday by a drunk driver.
Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: magicroundabout on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 10:35:54 At my mums house my little sister smells pockets of my nans purfume around the house.
She walked in the house from work one day and at the bottom of the stairs was the smell of my nans perfume. Even with the front door open it was still there in the same spot. No one in the house has that type of perfume so she believes nan visits just to check my mum (her daughter) is ok. Spooky  Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 10:42:20 I love ghostie stories, keep them coming guys 8)

Incidentaly, I've not seen one of those for about 16 days. :? Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: magicroundabout on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 10:57:42 another one i have is from when i was 11.
My bedroom was being redecorated so i had to sleep in my older sisters room for the night (she was at a mates house). When i woke in the morning i rolled over away from the wall to see a black figure standing there beside my bed. It looked like a court jester. With the pointy shoes and pointy hat, yet everything was blended together like a really dark shadow. The figure seemed to be looking down at the floor and to me felt like it was there for ages. it then moved it's head up and jumped over the bed and into the wall. I layed there scared stiff for ages. In the end i thought i was half asleep etc and thats why i saw it yet thinking back i can remember it clear as day. so ghost or not i'm unsure??!!! :? Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: STFCBird on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 11:07:13 I Feel people staring at me when I am alone in the house and quite often feel people brush past.

Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: Boeta on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 13:35:19 Quote The Bangladesh cricket team's tour of England has been fraught with testing challenges from pace bowling attacks. But recently the players experienced perhaps the biggest scare of the tour while staying at a hotel that has a reputation for being haunted. A ghastly apparition, clothed in white and accompanied by the anguished cries of a child, appeared by their rooms. In the disturbance that followed, several guests were woken up, the hotel manager told the BBC News website. Team captain Habibul Bashar - at the forefront of the brave but futile resistance to the England bowling attack - showed similar resilience when confronted with the ghostly menace. "Apparently he rushed out and attacked the ghoul," Paul Mandeir, the general manager of the Redworth Hall hotel in County Durham said. "In the ensuing melee awoke several other guests." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/4098556.stm Title: all night ghost vigil Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, June 16, 2005, 14:33:52 Quote from: "Titch" I beleive i have seen a ghost although i do still question myself.
