Title: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 01:11:39 Sorry to intrude guys, but i have always had a soft spot for swindon as my dad supported them.
Im a Celtic fan myself and have watched the growing connection between our two clubs flourish. Scot Cuthbert seems to have developed well down there (however i heard a wee rumour that lennon may be interested in bringing him back...so dont be surprised if Ferry is used as a makeweight) pity really! i quite like young ferry but i simply cannot see him breaking into the team this season im afraid. Also heard that you may be getting a few more of our hot prospects and some of the excellent fringe players down there this season... The ones to watch are : Paul Mcgowan-Busy wee player, eye for goal but unbelieveable work rate. Josh Thomson-Like the lad, big, strong just been call up to the england 21's? Milan Misun-fantastic,cool full back, nicked him under the noses of AC Milan. james forrest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyav8pKynTA (scored the 3rd)-this boy has a huge future. Niall Mcginn - N.Ireland international, good feet with absolutely lightening pace Paddy mccourt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Cm-a5kp55I - what can i say about paddy? N ireland international, probably one of the most 'gifted' players i have ever seen?...if only he had an engine to match! Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: maggers86 on Monday, July 5, 2010, 02:25:36 would be happy with mccourt if he consistently plays like that
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: maggers86 on Monday, July 5, 2010, 02:34:36 nice finish by forrest too
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Monday, July 5, 2010, 06:58:39 im sure i speak for every single swindon fan when i say more simon ferrys please, but fuck right off with your ben hutchinsons.
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Crispy on Monday, July 5, 2010, 09:33:57 Yep, huch was utter shite.
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Langers on Monday, July 5, 2010, 09:45:08 What about Caddis? Do you think theres any chance of him coming down here?
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: carbonwhite on Monday, July 5, 2010, 14:06:27 mccourt looks a great player, that is exactly what we need someone who can get the ball at his feet and just run at the defence an scare the shit out of them. :beers:
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Sippo on Monday, July 5, 2010, 14:10:30 It's all well and good looking at players on youtube, but would they cut the physical side of league 1? It's all about the attitude in my opinion, I don't want any big I am's here if they are unable to cut it.
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, July 5, 2010, 14:19:00 It's all well and good looking at players on youtube, but would they cut the physical side of league 1? It's all about the attitude in my opinion, I don't want any big I am's here if they are unable to cut it. Do you think that League 1 is more physical than the SPL? I would have thought it would have been on a par. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: DV on Monday, July 5, 2010, 14:39:06 Casal looked good in his youtube videos.
Enough said. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, July 5, 2010, 15:06:56 why would celtic loan us mccourt? he's 26...
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:18:57 im sure i speak for every single swindon fan when i say more simon ferrys please, but fuck right off with your ben hutchinsons. I think ben hutchinson was a impulse signing by wee strachan, big boy who had just burst onto the scene in the premiership and scored on his debut. we picked him up for nothing but simply hasnt worked hard enough to improve his game.he wont cut it. Im a bit sorry for ferry, certainly has ability but with this season being ever so important to us he wont get a look in im afraid. Im positive he will be with you on loan or permanently after the summer Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:21:10 What about Caddis? Do you think theres any chance of him coming down here? Again...we must win the league this season, fringe players will not be risked so i cannot see why not. Again! like ferry as a full back/wing back the boy has alot of potential and ALWAYS gives 100%. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:26:42 mccourt looks a great player, that is exactly what we need someone who can get the ball at his feet and just run at the defence an scare the shit out of them. :beers: mccourt is a bit of an enigma now,all the skill of ronaldinho (seroiusly! he has more ability than mcgeady) but simply doesnt have as good an engine... in fact he scored this one 3 weeks ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlHtN1Z3zn4 Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:28:17 why would celtic loan us mccourt? he's 26... because he needs 1st team football.... and he is not getting it. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:48:53 seriously though.
This little bond our two clubs are developing is only good for both teams,we get to blood genuine prospects whom would be very unlikely to get a peep this season. Simon Ferry and prehaps cuthbert have from what i hear have had been relatively successfull to swindon? Simon ferry is one one of many great prospects we have, infact i would genuinely say that there are far better bursting through at the moment. Our youth development has always been good, but since last seasond scrappage of our reserve league these players are travelling south and abroad playing closed door games. We are scouring europe for hot prospects in order to reduce our outgoings in the transfer market, that coupled with our £15m training complex should bear fruit. Our development of youths is frightening at the moment even our u12s won a euro tournament 2 weeks ago beating barcelona 6-0,this can only be good for you? Out of all the players i listed at the beginning....seriously.....get forrest for the season, this boy is frightening Watch out for this name though..... Islam Feruz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ADWth97GYU 14 year old and playing for the scotland u19s This boy is going to be a star...manchester united are after him Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Barry Scott on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:56:43 Ferry, Caddis and McCourt. Hmm, sounds nice. Hopefully the first 2 can be permanent. :D
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Monday, July 5, 2010, 23:58:02 Ferry, Caddis and McCourt. Hmm, sounds nice. Hopefully the first 2 can be permanent. :D was caddis down there before? Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 00:00:33 No, we tried to get him in Jan, but the transfer window closed or something. Is Forrest better as a Striker or Winger and what side does he play on?
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 00:07:16 No, we tried to get him in Jan, but the transfer window closed or something. Is Forrest better as a Striker or Winger and what side does he play on? right winger who sometimes comes inside the front two. The boy has got it in my opinion (potential to be as good or better than mcgeady) whips great ball in,box of tricks always going at full backs, and can score! caddis could do a job,had a good loan spell at dundee united last year. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 00:20:53 forrest can play striker too!
probanly better up front that samaras and fortune! both a waste of space :cunt: Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: radicalbyte on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 07:40:46 14 year old and playing for the scotland u19s This boy is going to be a star...manchester united are after him Was he born in Scotland, or is he naturalised? Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 08:20:15 Was he born in Scotland, or is he naturalised? I think he played in the Victory shield for Scotland and looked excellent. Believe he was born in Israel (this may be wrong) and brought up in Scotland. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Berniman on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 09:03:45 I like pauloantony, he's like our very own scout from north of the burder! Made from girders!
I would be happy with a lot of the players mentioned. Any decent left wingers? Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 09:44:13 Are Celtic trying to sign as many old players as possible? Sol Campbell and George Boating the latest people linked with the club!
Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: Sippo on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 09:45:19 Thats a good thing though surely?

Sol Campbell and George Boating the latest people linked with the club! His legs had gone when he came to the County Ground in the pre-season a couple of years ago. McNamee ran him ragged. I think by now he'd even be outpaced by Stephen Hawking. When his batteries are flat. Uphill. Title: Re: Celtic Loan Players Post by: pauloantony on Thursday, July 8, 2010, 22:00:54 I would have recommended santonocito from our u19s aswell but he signed for AC Milan yesterday http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2010/07/08/2015276/luca-santonocito-returns-to-italy-with-milan
