If it makes any difference, the pizza was a cheese pizza (the best kind), and the milk was the green lid one (again, the best kind). When I was a kid the working classes didn't have fridges....milk was delivered daily, except Sunday, and pizzas were still in Italy. Meat was kept on a marble slab with a wire mesh thing like a fencing faceguard over it to keep off the flies. Fuck me was it exciting to get a fridge....we'd never had it so good.
