Title: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 21:55:35 We don't seem to have any late night threads anymore. I've bummed around all day and got no work done. This is problematic as I need to get it done by tomorrow morning or it's going to eat into my week off and world cup watching time.
So in the meantime, post as much bollocks, amusing drunken weekend antics and stuff to keep me going throughout the night because no doubt I will get bored and need further distraction. After all, I'm not supposed to look at porn on my work laptop. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Nemo on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 21:57:45 I might go to bed in a bit, I'm currently being entertained by working out why two Direct Debits from EDF have appeared in my account. Somehow, I don't think that one was me.
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Samdy Gray on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:00:26 I really should go to bed, what with having work tomorrow and not getting much sleep all weekend, but I don't want the weekend to be over yet.
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:01:25 I'm watching the US Open on sky.
Woods is chopping it about like your average hacker, but still making pars, fuck knows how Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: THE FLASH on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:03:21 Im watching some thing on channel 5 - The Reaper.

I'm struggling for motivation TEF I could really use an amusing anecdote right now. Where are all the drunken student stories I so badly miss and may have been involved in once upon a time? Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:09:44 I went to a wedding yesterday and managed to kop off with the official photographer, half way through kopping off with her she realised that she had been to my club years ago and i had tried to kop off with her then (9 years ago to be precise) and she had blown me out. The moral of the story is gentleman if at first you dont succeed wait 9 years and have another crack.

Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: DV on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:16:57 got a film on, no work tomorrow but need to be up early just to keep my body clock in sync.
being a boring day. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Barry Scott on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:23:48 I downloaded Forgetting Sarah Marshall because i thought it could be quite funny. I think it was a shit copy though because Windows won't play it at all, the Mac will, but if i pause, forward or rewind it, it ends and i have to start again. This just happened as I paused it to watch some of Bad Boys which i have on in the background. I'm now downloading another copy. For the record I fucking hate downloading.
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: thedarkprince on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:24:39 I'm watching Caddyshack on ITV 3+1. Off all week drinking beer and watching footy so don't really care what time i go to sleep.
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: thedarkprince on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:26:29 I'm now downloading another copy. For the record I fucking hate downloading. What are you using to download the films? I use vuze and have never had a problem with it. For good torrents look for jaybob, axxo, fxg or fxm. All dvd rips and usually top quality. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: wiggy on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:35:09 I have got a headache having drunk way too much beer today. My fathers day pressie was a case of Three Castles and all their stuff is bottle conditioned.
It was also my dads 80th birthday party, and my brother had us all round for a BBQ. Now wondering if I can be bothered to pull photos thruogh to Facebook. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Barry Scott on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:39:00 What are you using to download the films? I use vuze and have never had a problem with it. For good torrents look for jaybob, axxo, fxg or fxm. All dvd rips and usually top quality. I use download services, RapidShare and what not. Or i go to a watch-movies-online.tv and just use downloadhelper to rip it from the site. Quality doesn't bother me. I'd rather have a 300-500mb movie that's ropey than a big file that's amazing. I don't do torrents, i'm too impatient! :) Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: thedarkprince on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:42:11 Most of the files i've downloaded are 750 - 900 MB and i can usually get upwards of 500kb/s so doesn't take too long...
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Barry Scott on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 22:50:42 I'm also a leech. :) My main reason for not using torrents is i hate it when there's only a few sharers and it disappears and you wait a week to get a film or some shit. Speedwise RapidShare is like torrents, it'll use you entire bandwidth, only the main difference is i never wait for anything, apart from my poxy 2mb connection. :)
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 23:12:15 you're funding terrorism barry
Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Barry Scott on Sunday, June 20, 2010, 23:19:46 I like to do my bit. I'm more worried about my mates ganging up on me and singing nasty songs about me because i pirate stuff.

Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: oxford_fan on Monday, June 21, 2010, 00:39:47 Are you still working pieman?
If I can finish my work by 02:30 I think I will call in sick tomorrow, and just email it in. I've got more important things to do such as watch films, nap, masturbate, put the compost out, and go to Habitat for a look around. Not necessarily in that order and I may even multitask and do some of them simultaneously. Have felt rough all weekend, feel a bit better today but I think I deserve a day off for being such a soldier through this bout of mild flu. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, June 21, 2010, 00:56:18 Yeah I'm still working.
Think I will manage to get a couple of the bits done. The third, no chance but I reckon I can get away with it as I was waiting on a related email back and I hadn't received it by close of play Friday. I'm just deciding whether I should roll up to work early and avoid as much hassle as possible or get in mid morning. Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, June 21, 2010, 01:35:53 I'm bored of work now and annoyingly have this song stuck in my head for no apparent reason:
Hello Daddy, hello Mom I'm your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb Hello world I'm your wild girl I'm your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb Title: Re: The Sunday not quite late night thread Post by: nevillew on Monday, June 21, 2010, 08:31:30 I went to a wedding yesterday and managed to kop off with the official photographer, half way through kopping off with her she realised that she had been to my club years ago and i had tried to kop off with her then (9 years ago to be precise) and she had blown me out.
