Title: Cameron's Black Tory Post by: Saxondale on Sunday, June 6, 2010, 19:25:06 Did anyone just see this toss?
Basically an hour long adverts for Wilfred Emanuel Jones, the failed conservative candidate for the Chippenham Seat in the election. Heavily leaning towards the side of 'oh these bumpkins wont vote for me because Im black', why did it get made? Apart from the fact that he was a PR man in London with a few mates in the business who thought it would be a good wheeze to follow him Not big on balance either. The lib dem who got in didnt get much of a say. In short absolute twaddle, which made Chippenham out to be some sort of fuddy duddy backwater untouched by progressive thought. I think the title explains why the Lib Dem bloke didn't get much of a say. They didn't have to put much of a negative slant on Chippenham either, the bloke who said "I'll never vote for your kind" and "I've shot better things than you" did that all on his own. It was a bit uncomfortable watching the Tory party faithful getting to grips with it though - discussing whether calling him coloured was proper and then telling a racist joke. Rather more on grounds of the likelihood of him spending any time doing anything for the people of chippenham whilst working keeping 3 houses and a business going was not exactly likely.

I'd say that both of those are reasonable insults to direct at a tory. |
