Hopefully NPower will send out the NPower girls, which they currently use at the Test matches, at Swindon home games...

Even his adversaries admired him. It must be true as it came out of his mouth. The plans for the ground didn't follow out of his mouth thuogh - stuck in his brain or something.

I wonder what Mr Whippy is doing these days...Dishing out ice creams?

He was shite at everything else, including trying to shoot down blimps (allegedly).

I think most of it came out of his arse but then it was never easy telling the difference. Didn't he used to be a corporate lawyer? Sure I heard that mentioned in passing

Isn't it amazing that complete and utter dickheads like him get the jobs they do. I wouldn't trust him to make ice cubes properly !!

A mate an STFC fan who knew Whippy through work, told me how Whippy sought advice about to best communicate with the great unwashed. His advice..meet them in the pub for a chat..lo and behold we get Holt and Whippy offering to buy rounds...which is probably why DRS likes him.

Seem to remember that went really well. In fairness, good advice on the face of it to a normal person, but missed out the basic pre-requisites in this very special case of "Stop being such a knob" and "Don't work for scumbags"

Well intentioned but hopelessly naive.

I miss him too.
