Surely ours has to be released soon. Didn't Mr F choose it? Word on the street is that it is white and has collapsible drums sown under the arm pit,  if you do a chicken impression with your arms you get the thrum of the drum.

:)

Thought the Olympique de Marseille shirt was quite simple and smart.
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/Olympique-de-Marseille-10-11-adidas-home-shirt-leaked.jpg

Until I went on their site and saw the shirt complete with sponsor:

That does ruin it slightly, although there are worse sponsors out there.

New City kit:

Unfortunately, it looks quite good.

It will probably be a design used by some of the bigger teams this season.  I hope they don't get the dreadful Chelsea design, but rather a cleaner design like the one Hamburg had.

Post by: berswin on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, 08:32:25
Bristol City has unveiled their Adidas shirt for the 10-11 season, so our will probably be the same design.

I've got one objection to the design and that is the high placement of the Adidas logo compared to the club badge.

If we end up with the same kit as City it will be plain wrong.

Also, I don't like the way the Adidas logo is higher up then the badge. It worked on this year's kit because of the squiggly line, but on a plain shirt it just looks a bit wrong.

We don't get to choose their new designs that the Prem teams wear, not for another couple of years anyway.  There are about 7 different levels of ranges and we get to pick from level 3 down or something along those lines.  New Prem kits would be level 1.  Ours was chosen in October.

Looks more like a goalkeeper kit to me, although there doesn't seem to be any padding. Either way, it's not pretty.

I thought the very same thing.

I reckon you could show our kit design to 1000 people and each one without fail would say, "ooooh, the white splodge looks a bit daft" or something along those lines.

The only two people in the whole world who don't seem to think it looks a bit daft are the person who designed it and whoever at the club decided that was what we should wear this season.

Strange

I love the way everyone has made up names for people around them!! we do it to customers at work as well!

There is of course Bernimans mate "old man Nicho" in front of us as well!
without forgetting to mention foul mouth and her son green teeth!

A couple of friends of mine have a list of all the "faces" they recognise from the Town End and following Swindon away - no names, just nicknames or descriptions! They took me through it once and its funny going through just how many people you recognise purely from a nickname.
