I think getting in owners/a Board with business acumen was the reward.

Tomorrow is a reward for anyone who's supported town through the good times and the bad, but especially this season.

Mmm, I didn't want it to sound exclusive.

Hopefully the day will be sunny, convert a few people to the cause and enjoyed by those who have put up with the last decade of mostly unmitigated toss - it's just I think those involved in that stuff who walk down Wembley way tomorrow can do so with that special bit of pride.

Reminds me of a not very amusing story. And I'm going to tell it.

In the early 90's there was a student cooking program called get stuffed. It was a kind of late night 5 minute filler that came on before Tour Of Duty. Anyway we were talking about it one day, and my mates girlfriend came over caught half the conversation and asked him what he was taking about. He said, in all innocence "Get Stuffed", she took offence and a split second later he got a slap around the chops before she stormed off.

Perhaps its one of those things you had to be there for.

Bang on.  And the really good thing...even if doesn't happen today (& let's face it, it's a bit of a lottery), we're very well set for next season, the season after, the one after that.

I won't be focussing on boardroom issues for the rest of the day, but this was a timely reminder of what we have to be grateful for!  Nice one.
