Have no holiday booked from work, am being told i might finish early but no assurance. I need to finish at lunch time to see family that have travelled down from oop North (if Banbury can be refered to as that) before they leave to go home.
Therefore ladies, i have these options:
-Leave at Lunch without asking, invoking some sort of bad sort of response from employers.
-Work until i am told to go home, possibly being late for family thingy, invoking some sort of bad response from all my relatives.
-Call in 'sick'. (please note: was 'sick' yesterday

Companies suck.  Families rock.  Call in sick, if you don't you'll regret it and chances are they'll forget about it over the pissed up period anyway.  Feck 'em.  That's what I say!!!!

Can't beleive how lucky I am someimes, the old flexi means I can stroll in at whatever time I choose and also leave when ever I want.

I'd just leave Faring.  You have given them plenty of notice and if necessary just take it as unpaid leave.  If they start to whinge play the old emotional blackmail card and tell them that it's a really special family occassion to see family you haven't seen in years and that your really disapointed that even after giving pleanty of notice they can't afford you a just few hours off at Christmas.

Gcse's and 3 A-levels. Went to uni, but hated being poor, so i quit and came back to work. Plenty of office exp, worked at RM (Milton Park) for a few months, now at a company in Abingdon tempin'. Not sure about being a personal bitch for a Pox fan, but hey, i need money and would prefer to earn it easily.

It would have been good to see if it is possible for Swindon and Oxford fans to co-exist in the same office, but i guess we'll never know now. I wouldn't have wanted to make you look bad at your job anyways :wink:

This does seem to be possible actually, I work just outside Wantage and there are a shit load of scummers here but just a handfull of town lads.
Of course the fact there are about four hundred other people here to diffuse it helps. Banter is good though! :P
