club shop are selling generic flags on poles that look great when theres thousands of them.
after paying £55 for my ticket, gowd knows what on transport and food and drink (all of these have nothing to do with the club admittedly) i was slightly disspointed to see the price tag of £10!
they dont even have  picture of the stadium whoch is traditional IMO

What other stuff are they selling,any wembley t-shirts etc.

Has anyone read the Health & Safety rules regarding flags at Wembley?! Unless you can get some sort of fire safety cert for your flag, it must be under 1.5m by 2.5m... The rules made me angry, but i think you'll find the rules will make any decent flag owning fan a bit mad.

I also think that the hundreds of temp stewards arent really going to care if the flag in your bag is 3m not 2.5 and you arent carrying the fire certificate. Bollocks to it.

What they really mean is 'don't cover up any advertising, we're making a fortune out of that as well'

I have previously seen a huge swindon flag with club and country written on, plus a fairly big one with the (good old) www.stfcfannyforum.com (or similar) written on (courtesy of townfish I guess)...What ever happened to these?

Gonna drive over to Swindon tomorrow after work and have a look in the club  shop.

I think it looks bloody awesome when the teams come into a packed stadium and all you can see is a sea of flags waving.

My son has just been down there and brought flag £10 red & white chequred with the swindon badge in the middle.

He said there wasn't that much apart from car flags,jester hats just the regular type of stuff you get for finals.I could't tell you about replica kits,Im not sure how we stand on that but im guessing we will have new kit next season so i doubt you will get this seasons now.

Thought that might be the case, but I seem to remember in 1993 they suddenly got a load of shirts in and sold them cheaper because it was changing the following season.  Wondered if they might do the same again, because I know quite a few people who don't normally go, but are wanting to buy a shirt for Wembley!

I wanted another shirt as well. I bought a medium and it's not tight, but if i eat or drink too much (both of which will happen on the 29th) it becomes rather restrictive around the stomach area.

I nipped in there yesterday wasnt much on display apart from adidas play-off final polo shirts for £30 ! needless to say I didnt buy one! they'd also just had a delivery so might be worth a look over weekend  

Anyone know if the shop's open Sunday or is it just tomorrow? I know it's not usually open Sundays, just wondering if they might do an extra "Wembley tat" day

Yep, i've been sick 3 times today and am aiming for 10 times tomorrow. Hopefully it will fit quite normally by Wembley. Either that or i pretend i bought it knowing it was tight and i think i'm cool and muscled, which i'm most certainly not.

we have 3 two Union jacks and a huge white ensign that is 25 foot by 17 foot but you need a bloody suitcase just to take it to the ground
