I think the London lot are planning to go to the Market Porter at London Bridge, although this is yet to be confirmed

The Rose of Denmark, was meant to be ok - spoke to some charlton - 5 mins from the ground. Apparently the pub next to the ground gets packed early and it's hard to get served? Anyone know?

If not then London Bridge it is.

There's a pub that is on the corner before the ground. Can't remember what it's called but it's got a brothel upstairs apparently. Charlton fan in The Merlin on Friday recommended it.

i was in that one on the corner nearest to ground. Nice pub, got quite filled with town fans so tomorrow could be interesting. I'l be in that one

I'll go down London Bridge, then the ground about 5pm I think.

They dont seem to have a lot of drinkers at their home games. Theres only 3 pubs near the ground and last time they all seemed to have more Town fans in them than Charlton on Boxing day.

Some are going to the Porter, most are going to the barrowboy and banker directly outside LB station.

Cheers. Might just have to wait and see what time I get to LB - I'll pop in to one of those if I have the time!

Hello guys, Charlton fan here, if any of you are interested in drinking another pub (Im sure the Antigillican opposite the train station will be packed with your lot. Theres a very nice pub which always welcomes away fans called the Anchor and Hope, when you come up the steps from Charlton station, immediately cross the road and walk down the hill, its about half a mile down the road. If its a nice evening, which it looks like it may be, theres a beer garden out the front which overlooks the thames.

What can I say...may the best team win. I really cant call this one, and if its anything like Friday night im sure we will both be in for a nervy evening!

I can guarantee you im not a landlord haha I'll be making a similar length of journey to South London as you lot will. Its always been a good pub with a friendly atmosphere. But fair enough take it as a trap, stick to 3000 of you lot trying to get in the Antigillican!

It's a bit of a dive, though, to tell the truth.  If you're set on find a decent pub near Waterloo East (instead of London Bridge, where most are heading) you could try here:

Its alright, but mainly chose it because it should be easy for my non london based friends to find.  Come out of Waterloo, cross the road, you're there.

It's pretty much £3.50 upwards every where in the main bits, average is about £3.80 for cider, and about £6.50 for a large wine, I tend not to go out too much anymore!

Sam Smith Alpine Lager is my friend. £2.30 a pint in central London, a bit rank but after a couple I normally get used to the taste.

I had that Sam Smith's lager in a pub in Central London the other day. Had to restrain my urge to vomit after each sip. Left 2/3 of it. Never seen it on sale anywhere else outside of that pub.

Shed loads of cheap beer. My work local is The Cardinal but I recommend the Yorkshire Grey.

The Alpine certainly is an acquired taste

Superb behaviour! 7 pints and a coke, all passed back as soon as they wer epoured. Dopy barmaid asks how much we ordered, my mate replies with 'call it a tenner'...'make it fifteen' she replies. Job done!

Perhaps they could use that as part of an advertising campaign:
