Tomorrow cannot come quickly enough.

Yep. I'm so nervous and excited already. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day that Douglas finally opens his account, but any win will do!

Any win indeed, perhaps a Jack Smith OG...

Enjoy the day folks!

Not nervous, just want to be there get the job done. We can do it. Leeds have been faultering, Millwall lost last week, so we've got the momentum back. Got to play the strongest team available.

I really can see the Script Writers now, with Frank getting the goal what with his West Ham connections....

I BELIEVE we can do it! I am hoping Leeds wil draw 1-1 with Rovers and we win. Thats my ideal situation becuase it will give Leeds fans hope and they balls it up! With Rovers taking the 1-0 lead. Leeds claw back to 1-1 and draw and us win 3-2 in the final min. Stuff dreams are made of. I am not nervous. Just really excited. Thing is even if we win and Leeds win will still feel like a defeat :D

I'm more nervous about getting there on time cause I can't leave Swindon until noon!

No butterflies yet. Leeds are expected to win, as are Millwall, so there's no pressure on us. This will change of course if results go our way.

Getting out of the ground alive is a different matter!

Getting out of the ground alive is a different matter!

This will be dead (no pun intended) easy. Police will keep us in the ground for ages so Millwall fans disperce. Own entrance to train station which will be covered wtih OB, OB will be on trains to ensure no disorder and Met Police will escort the coaches in and out. Sorted

the only way it will kick off is if we win and we go up. And only then it'll be a pitch invasion, because by the time we're let out, it'll be half 6!

I hope if Leeds do take the lead, that it doesn't get to the players and they lose hope...I'd rather we finished third and not fourth..

Are you going by train?

I'm travelling from Bristol by train and I don't leave til 12. Get to Paddington 13.41. An hour and 19mins ot get to the ground before kick off.

According to tubechecker and transport for London it only takes 25-30mins to get from Paddington to Bermondsey tube station. Change at Baker Street then get the Jubilee line to Bermondsey.

Na, driving to Acton and then tubing it. Might be a stupid idea but I've always done it when I visit London.

Bermondsey Tube is nowhere near the New Den! You need to get off the tube at London Bridge and get a train to South Bermondsey (takes about 5 minutes from London Bridge).

I think my work colleagues are fed up of me going on and on about it :D

I work with about 5 or 6 Leeds fans so tomorrow could be very sweet indeed. The pressure is all on Leeds. They have to beat Bristol Rovers.

Tomorrow night could be the biggest piss up since I've been old enough to drink.

I am nervous as hell about tomorrows game.

I CAN'T STAND IT!

Nerves kicking in now, going to be a difficult morning tomorrow, can't see me eating anything much until after the game.  Just want to set off and get it all done.  Hope to enjoy the game and atmosphere too though!

Hey System bloke - where do you park in Acton?  Also driving but only to tube somewhere.

looking forward the game, as long as we can get the win that that is all we can ask for, I really don't expect leeds to screw it up but hope that we can be knocking on the door if they do slip up and then it will put us in good stead going into the play offs if we don't snatch 2nd spot

This the sort of game that players should relish - the big games

I've been some what meh about the game.

I havent got the buzz because I really cant see anything other than a Leeds win against Rovers. Its all people have been talking about at work this this week. The Leeds fan is probably on his way up to Leeds now. The buzz is slowly starting to creep in now, added to the fact I should be able to watch the game at least.

fingers, toes, penis crossed and all that.

I am completely calm. I fully expect Leeds to give Rovers a going over.

If I was going to Millwall then I might have thought differently and been excited. But I am not, I'll be in the pub hopefully watching some Live Feed on the internet.

Same here. Rovers have lost more games this season than we did last season!

Despite how they played in the two games against us they actually arent that good and they are probably in their worst form of the season.

The one sliver of hope is that every time a team has had it in their hands to lose 2nd place, they've lost it. Might just happen one more time.

Title: Re: The Day Before Tomorrow
Post by: nochee on Friday, May 7, 2010, 15:13:57
I spose that thinking leeds will turn rovers over does save any disappointment, but i am still clutching to the hope that the unthinkable will happen and everything goes our way.

Maybe thats why im bouncing off the walls with excitement.

Remember leeds have fucked a lot up this season! Also, if rovers do win then leeds fans will be mighty pissed and some gasheads will get a kicking in retaliation. Brizzel help us to promotion and get walloped in the process, Aceness

Title: Re: The Day Before Tomorrow
Post by: Arriba on Friday, May 7, 2010, 15:16:48
it is pretty unlikely to see us promoted tomorrow for two reasons.
leeds will probably win, and millwall aint gonna roll over and have their bellies tickled by us.

that said considering how this season has gone in div 1 who knows what will happen?could well be a twist in the tale yet.....

Lets be realistic we are an outside bet to go up. We have to beat a good side with a very good home record and hope that a team cheered on by 30,000+ fail to beat a mid table side with nothing to play for.

Stranger things have happened in football, and theres always a chance but it is unlikley we are going up tomorrow.

Fuck me, if you can't get excited about tomorrows game you need to give up watching football.

Title: Re: The Day Before Tomorrow
Post by: Colin Todd on Friday, May 7, 2010, 16:00:22
I am excited. But exitement needs to have a dose of realism to it otherwise you'll just end up gutted when something that was unlikley in the 1st place dosnt happen.

Really? I think he will want to play, he wont bottle it. I cant see the Millwall players ripping into him and risking a red card. If the Millwall fans do anything then surely they risk a incurring a huge penalty for the club. He could be a useful weapon for us to help gain an advantage.

Millwall have had a string of warnings in the past 5 years. Any physical violence towards a player could see them incur a huge penalty, might even cost them promotion should they manage it.
