Hillsborough looks amazing full up. Love it. Wonder when they last used that weird bit in the corner?

But Palace look a far superior side.

Fuck sake blackpool

The stats seem to suggest Blackpool are having the better of the game so hopefully they can get back in to it. As it stands they're finishing 6th but they'll know that a Swansea goal would change everything.

Edit: Cracking goal from Maynard too

Commentators annoy me. The Wednesday vs Palace commentator is saying that Blackpool's equaliser means Swansea have everything to do, when in fact it doesn't make a jot of difference, unless pool get another.

I'm listening to the Palace/Wednesday game, which genuinely holds far more interest to me. I think i'm going off Premier League football.

Not last day but Gerrard has just sent one up for Chelsea.

Great back pass. He did a similar thing in Euro 2004 against France in the last minute which lost us the game.

I was one of the people that wanted him here but got shouted down.

He has done brilliant up there but he has a huge playing/wage budget.

What a brilliant match.

Brother in law is a wednesday fan, just been sat watching it with him.

I think he's still buzzing from the effort they put in at the end. Not sure the reality of relegation has hit yet.

Good game though.

yeah, if we don't go up we'll at least have the consolation of a claimed three million wendies coming to the county ground to tell us what a big sleeping giant they are. oh joy.

dillusion of grandeur seems to be rife in yorkshire

Heard if Blackpool were to go up, they'd have to consider ground-sharing with Preston

Here's a thread back from a couple of years ago, about who we thought might be new boss...no-one has really slagged off the prospect of Holloway, quite a few other than JJ in favour.

No-one mentions Wilson...who I suppose was still at HPool at the time.

Rubbish. Same crap was said about Fratton Park.

They might have to finally build the away end though.

Is it still that wooden nonsense down the side of the pitch? I was there for the 2-2 game when Sammy Igoe got Sent off and Parkin scored twice. Got absolutely soaked that day!!

They've just opened the third stand - one more to go. They've suffered massively from keeping the purse strings tight so they could build the thing so it's good to see them challenging. About time they got the redevelopment finished though!

Even Craven Cottage was allowed in the Premier League when they had massive old style terraces.

I chatted to a Villa fan who went down there and he said it was dangerous that season, because there was no segregation between the seats and the stand, so the vast majority of the Villa fans wanted to take up what was (probably) their last chance to stand at a top flight league game.

Terracing is the only reason I could see a ground not being allowed in the top flight. Even then I could see it being permitted for a couple of seasons if it was just a home fans terrace.

I cannot see that, sounds like a rumour spread about by jealous Preston fans, because that would be akin to us groundsharing with Bristol City or even Poxford.
