The train from swindon to south bermondsey return works out at £86 for 4 people. There are a few changes to be made and im not sure if you have to stick to the given train depature times on the ticket or not. If so the 1030 train i was planning to take arrives  Millwall at 1230, seems dangerously early to me.

Anyone know if the train ticket/times are flexible?

They have pubs in London, you'll be able to pass the time.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record...try the Market Porter.  It's a lovely pub.  You probably won't want to leave it.

Yep, got that.. thats why i was asking if the train ticket times are flexible so can have a few jars in the the safety of the city before getting to the ground. Or will i have to buy seperate tickets, which will cost more than my original direct price

Generally only the legs between Swindon and Paddington will be confined to a set time.
