It's hung over him ever since, and unfairly. His only faults are he's far too nice, and too loyal to certain players. Terrific manager though, and a lovely guy as well. Latest rumours are that he will decide on his future at the end of the season. Bristol apparently being penny pinchers. If you want the best manager outside the Premiership, you have to pay for it! Talk about City fans having delusions of grandeur.They seem to think that any Reading player would sign for them,that they'll go on a spending spree this summer and this quote sums them up on possible summer signings... "Commons and Tyson are not good enough anymore, at least not for our ambition". It all reminds me of Ipswich fans having the same reaction 1 year ago,to Roy Keane's arrival. Coppell if he does join City,is of course a far better manager than Keane. |
