Title: Swindon V Oxford
Post by: Tails on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, 12:57:20
Hi guys,

We're playing Oxford again this Saturday (10.30 KO) and we're in need of a goalkeeper, and maybe a few more players for backup. If anyone is interested in playing or know anyone else that might be please let me know. We've already beaten them once this season on their own turf so they'll be out to get us back. It'll be in Chiseldon, directions etc will be provided if you decide you'd like to come along.

Cheers

In all fairness to Nemo he did do a pretty decent job against them at their place.

It was genuine, I need you around to sweep up after my mistakes. And do my running. And remind me where the marauding right winger is.

:D  I can sweep, I can tell you were you should be...but do your running?  I normally get some young buck to my running for me...'Tails - your man!'

Tails, what time do we need to be there?

Title: Re: Swindon V Oxford

About 9.45 if possible mate. We'll need to put the nets up and stuff, so better if people get there earlier.

It was 6-2 to Oxford, wasn't it?

I knew all along to be honest.

4-1 when I play, 6-2 when I don't.  Fair enough, I understand the situation here.

So to summarize, I conceded one goal (a penalty) and the good keeper conceded 6?

No justice in the world, is there?

Depends on the quality of the defence, too.
