Title: Italian Match Fixing
Post by: SCM on Saturday, April 10, 2010, 00:35:15
From another forum...

"A lad on RI posts every so often with the details of a match in Italy which is pretty much certainly bent. The first was Chievo vs Catania to draw, and the most likely to be 1-1, and surprise surprise, they drew, 1-1, and both teams passed the ball around for a good 15 minutes at 1-1.

The latest is this:

Bologna vs Lazio - 10/4/10

Betting on: draw
Total matched on this event: £213,035
Betting summary - Volume: £204,378
Last price matched: 1.59"

Odds for a draw are on here: http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-matches/serie-a

Ladbrokes amongst others aren't taking bets on the match.

Interesting to keep an eye on at least.

They call them 'white' fixes. They always happen towards the end of the season between teams that have nothing to play for.
