I've just watched the highlights - cracking goal to win it from Robben.  I think it makes it interesting to have a year with no English teams in the semi-finals.  I'm very much looking forward to those games now.

You have to admire Ferguson as a great manager...but sometimes (always when things aren't going his way) the mask slips and he makes a complete cock of himself.  That happened last night.

His 'typical Germans' comment made me cringe.  So embarrassing.  It beggars belief that talented professionals like Ferguson can at the same time be so critical of their opponents' conduct and so uncritical of their own.  The man needs to take a look in mirror.
