Runners-up receive £10,000. Apparently all clubs in this division receive £640,000 from the League towards running costs. It's £2.5 million in the Championship, although winning it would only generate £50,000! I guess it would be financially more rewarding to go up through the play-offs, especially in front of 80,000 at Wembley!
