Having just watched the highlights of Norwich vs Leeds, and the interviews after, I have come to two conclusions.

1. Leeds raised their game for their cup final and still lost, as shown by Grayson's insistence that if they play that well for the rest of the year they'll go up.

2. Was it Nelson that kicked Douglas in the face in front of the TE? If so, that's two in two weeks now and thankfully Douglas didn't come off half as bad as Becchio. If it was him both times, somebody really needs to have a word.

Whilst I agree completely that it is shocking, do you think they were unprovoked attacks?

Danny Ward went off against Brighton and played 90 minutes the following Tuesday at Southampton.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson has said Luciano Becchio is "recovering well" after swallowing his tongue against Norwich.

The striker was knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital after a clash with Canaries defender Michael Nelson early on in the 1-0 defeat on Saturday.

Grayson has praised the treatment the 26-year-old received and says he is doing well as he recovers from the serious incident.

The Whites boss told the club's website: "He travelled back with us and he's recovering well. We are monitoring his progress.

"The physios and the doctors were terrific with their response."
