Perhaps its purely because they know how many people would put money on Leeds as the 'big club' and thus stand to make a greater loss should they actually turn things around?

I see your point, but given that they're playing Norwich on Saturday then us next week I can see them losing 2nd spot, and possibly dropping as far as 5th before long. |
