As much as I agree players should be given more of a chance under SG, e.g Sheehan and Robbo, it doesnt look likely with fuckin Lowry on his way back.
The only natural LB we have is fucking injured Simon FFS!!!!

i can't even remember the last good free-kick taker we had. i only remember a few we have scored from namely sammy igoe's one against bradford a few seasons back. JPM scored one this season i believe?

I'm fairly convinced that we'll try to buy him if we get up. He sees himself as a championship player, and I think I agree with him.

Tad worried about his drinking rep though, that's more than once that I've read about a booze-related issue at Leeds. Plus he needs to work on his temper - he looks permanently up for a scrap on the pitch. I love aggression but if it can't be channelled then the player is more of a hindrance than a help.

I liked the way he pushed that Southampton bloke Ferry kicked, the twat forgot he was supposed to be playing dead, and jumped straight up. Still think he's getting up to speed after that hamstring pull tbh.

Yeh I noticed that. And on Saturday when Naarwch players rounded on Austin after he pushed their defender into their keeper, Sheehan was straight in there with his sleeves rolled up. We had a laugh about it at the time, but he needs to control it. Also DW had to sub him in his first game at Wrexham because he kept kicking the Welsh midgets, & was close to a red card.

I like Sheehan...hes quality.

Sheehan has got a bit of a temper on him. Still remember that awful challenge on JP that was 2 footed and somehow wasn't a red according to Leeds fans.

On footballing ability I'd love it if we could sign him on a perm, plus I'd be confident that Wilson & Shirtliff could keep him on the straight & narrow.
