Title: The Football League Show
Post by: yeo on Sunday, March 21, 2010, 01:01:54
Id have thought Swindon v Norwich would have warranted more than 10 seconds. They spent longer than that with a cringworthy anti racism shot of a smiley Black Kid going to a Dagenham game.

Yeah not great........although is it just me or does Claridge seem to have a bit of a thing for us, everytime I've seen the show he seems a bit 'keen' on us. Bizarre with us being one of the few league clubs he hasn't played for

We had the shortest slot of all Division One games, thought we'd see the three fine saves from the Norwich keeper (two from Ward and one from JPM) and the shot that hit our bar. That program is really crap.

2 minutes of highlights on the STFC player. It's usually double that :(

Sort it out Fitton or I will cancel my subscription

And what's with all those ball juggling loons in the links - I'd rather see a bit more action from the games. Yesterday's 'highlights' was a joke - surely Swindon v Norwich was the biggest game in the League One fixtures for yesterday, 4th playing top but no, we get a paltry spot & very little reflection either.

Bloody BBC pinko's

To be honest I think the Football league show had given us plenty of attention over the past 2/3 months. I dont think we can complain.

Did anyone stick with the local 'late night' guff on Mondays? Did it improve?

No, three of the worst presenters known to man and too many clubs to cover making it a gimmick.

i watch it purely for jonathon pearce's jerry springer moment at the end, it normally leaves me crying with laughter. Plus i have fun trying to understand which language murty is speaking i think its a form of deaconoid.

I've got it on series link, usually just watch it on FF up to anything about the Town, & 5 minutes later I'm at the end and deleting it.

It's been worth it though as they've done a couple of features on us, including a funny Simon Ferry interview (genuinely funny bloke).
