I think the bloke deserves a thread of his own as i want to big the fella up.
He has been nothing short of awesome the last few weeks and i'm made up for him scoring today.Trust me he was running on empty just before he netted, as he'd pushed upfront and was blowing out of his arse when he was fetching the ball to take throw ins.

Did an excellent job today, didn't give away silly free kicks and led the team from the back and of course the important goal.

I think he compliments the other centre backs well (or they compliment him!) but I think Cuthbert has been a bit better over the course of the season. Which is no criticism, but just my two pence about player of the year.

We had some Norwich fans needing a Recovery truck back to Norwich earlier,I lent them our Pool Car and printed out some Pictures of Gordon Greer celebrating a goal and left them in the back seat of the Car 8)

Greer is indeed immense and just as he played a key part in our battle to avoid the drop when he first came in, so he's been pivotal in our unexpected promotion push this season. However, it's now got to be Yeovil for player of the season for me :)

He is the Rolls Royce of our side. Pure class.

He has revitalised his career with us, what a great bit of business bringing him here.

Outstanding centre half, not just a very good defender, he so good on the ball as well, the way he links with the midfield is way ahead of Division One standard.

He can spray a decent crossfield pass around as well.  Not quite Glenn Hoddle playing as sweeper but certainly has a good touch.

Ah yes, the one where Greer jumped up headed the ball backwards and there player was behind him and just went down for no reason.

i think he's out best footballer in the team. he's got an awesome passing range and can play himself out of trouble

Greer is capable of some incredible passes and some absolute shit.

he spent alot of time injured before he got here.

fair play to the physiotherapist for keeping him fit.

He's got a great pass on him. The cross for Billy vs Leeds and the deep cross to Austin vs Huddersfield stick in the mind.

Lescinel is prone to the odd error of judgment but there's no doubting his improvement over the course of the season. Some of his passing and crossing has been superb. Personally I think he looks a lot better at CB.

The RAF had a bit of a history for awful loan signings until Greer really, Proctor, McPhee, Lonergan...anyone else?

Proctor did earn us three points on debut...

Proctor did OK, got 2 goals in 4 games, including the winner on his debut - he just wasn't here long enough to make an impact. McPhee and Lonergan, less said the better. Although in fairness, it was the respective managers who made the signings not the RAF. So it's not that surprising that it's only the most recent one who's really worked out.

Lonergan is a quality keeper, he was shit for us but if I recall, he was coming back from an eye injury and couldn't see properly. That said, he was fucking awful for us.

Although Lonergan went back to Preston, and has been their number 1 pretty much since, as he was before. He just wasn't fit and made a mistake, he's still a very good keeper.

That's what was said before he came to us on loan last season, although he hadn't long come back from injury i think, but wasn't getting a look in at Donny, but only been injured once this season hasn't he, so hasn't had a bad year for us really
