I'm watching that, well its on the tv....

....was I not paying attention or did they move to a shot of the crowd just as Frings was running up to take his penalty then went back to the game as he was walking back to his half after scoring?

The Bremen game could finish any scoreline, as both defences are non existant.

Fulham are hammering Juventus it could be 7 or 8, Juventus have hardly been out of there half, there is 4 minutes left hope Fulham dont do a Swindon and go deep defending for the remaining minutes.

Now that would be funny...

Fulham have now beaten Juve and the holders in the last two rounds...

I hate the away goals rule.

I would've liked seing Bremen and Valencia go for another 30 minutes.

Brilliant result for Fulham, more twitching corpse than the old lady of Turin tonight.

Does this mean we're now officially better than Juve? That's what my eldest reckons, anyway, having already concluded we're better than Man Utd on the back of our 1-0 vs their 3-0 :)

Don't we have a 100% record vs Juventus?

We have a 100% record against Juventus according to swindon-town-fc.co.uk

Swindon were drawn in Group 1 with Sheffield Wednesday, Juventus and Napoli. They started brightly, hammering Juventus 4-0 at home in their first match, before a home defeat by Napoli looked to have scuppered their chances of progressing. Against the odds, they won both their away fixtures - 1-0 at Juventus and 1-0 at Napoli. Swindon progressed to the final stage at the expense of Middlesbrough and Wolves. Napoli also qualified, helped by a 5-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday

Fulham's result tonight has to be the best for any British team in Europe in recent years.

Sweating on a football bet tonight which would really make this a great week after Cheltenham so far:
Wolfsburg who have just equalised to win
Anderlect who have just gone 3-2 up
and Liverpool to win

Pays just under 11/2

To be pedantic, that has nothing to do with the Fulham game.

Just got back from Craven Cottage - what a fantastic game. Fulham were absolutely brilliant and could have won by a lot more. Juventus were dreadful, mind. As my Fulham season ticket holding mate said, they weren't nearly as good as Swindon...  :D

Roy Hodgson really is a class act. And on tonight's form, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bobby Zamora on the plane to South Africa.

There's a great line in one of today's papers concerning Roy Hodgson..

A footballing anomaly, the Fulham gaffer is so old school that he does not damn referees as the spawn of Satan and even refrains from topping up his tan on a pre-match sunbed. He does not claim to be a partially-sighted visionary and fatuously refuses to snub the BBC because he did not much like the last episode of Neighbours. Fulham 4 Juventus 1. The true Special One.
