It's the weight of false expectations that'll keep them down again this year. They don't learn do they?  :D

I think i bet on them not being promoted this season, so i will be pleased if they fuck it up. Although even if i didn't make my regular stupid bets that no sane person makes, i'd be pleased to see them stay where they belong.

They have a right element there who are still blinkered by their Champions League shenanigans of a few years back.  

They really do feel that they don’t belong in League one, which as the Frog has mentioned really sets expectations wildly out of kilter.

I don’t think they see many of the clubs around them are in an identical position to Leeds.  A lot of the top teams challenging for the top six can all claim to be “fallen giants” of one sort or another or have sufficient funding to push for promotion.  

It’s interesting that a lot of Championship clubs are feeling the pinch this season and as a result not in a position to horde large squads of players to the same extend they did a few seasons ago.  As a result more players are filtering down the ladder and ending up in League one rather than bench warming in the Championship.  Arguably a lot of these players are a far better standard than the fare that was available a few years ago and as a result the league has opened up somewhat.

If they looked at the league table sometime they might just notice that we are in the same league as them

Fans from the top league probably think the lower leagues are full of half decent hard man midfielders. Nothing could be further from the truth. We probably went 10 years without ever having a decent midfield general.

He's obviously associated with their relegation to the third tier. But he was brilliant in the games we played against Leeds. The 1-3 defeat under Malpas he was absolutely sensational. Battered our midfield even when they were a man short.

Douglas hasn't scored for us this season.

Maybe he's saving it up to score the winner at ER.

Can't believe he's so far ahead in that poll, would be third or fourth in mine. Would still miss him if he wasn't here though.

there already planning for the championship by the sounds of it. seems like they have mixed emotions about dougie though. ah well i just hope we go and give them another thrashing.

Hes always there. When the team is struggling thats when you notice him.

At Franchise we looked fairly clueless, but you cant see him upping the tempo. Hitting their players harder and harder without giving away fouls.

The Leeds fans do sort of point out that their loss is our gain.

I always seem to forget just how much better Leeds are than us. I can't think why. It must be that the fact we dicked them 3-0 has given me the impression they're not as good as they think.

I think that win at Old Trafford in the cup inflated their fans egos.

Leeds are a good side for this division, on paper certainly too good to be here but form is suggesting otherwise at the moment. Of course they're still spending ridiculous sums of money for a team not far from ourselves.

Take Snodgrass out of their side and they'd be where we are now, looking over their shoulders thinking they may not even make the play offs.
