Title: Gas v Charlton Post by: Gnasher on Monday, February 15, 2010, 17:05:17 Although I hate saying it, a home win would do nicely this evening.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Rich Pullen on Monday, February 15, 2010, 17:08:33 I'm just happy that we're up there. The season is in our hands, let the Gas lose :)
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Phil_S on Monday, February 15, 2010, 17:50:37 They are worried about us on the 6th that is for sure. OOne of my friends came to the Leeds match with me, but is a Wovers supporter. We were going to go to us Vs them but he has backed our with the comment "our season is over".
More likely worried about the endless abuse he will get when we hammer them. But yes a home win tonight will be good. Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 15, 2010, 18:38:34 They have been shite since they beat us so no chance of a Wovers win tonight. And i'd rather they lose as well. Hate them.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: DiV on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:04:44 1-0 to the gash
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Gnasher on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:05:34 Almost identical to the goal we scored against Charlton.

Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Batch on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:42:51 I'm almost happy Rovers are winning. I feel dirty, I am off to shower but I bet no matter how hard I rub the shame will still be there.

I feel dirty, I am off to shower but I bet no matter how hard I rub the shame will still be there. From what I hear the amount of rubbing you do in the shower is shameful anyway. Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:46:21 Blatant pen turned down for Chalton, booking aswel for simulation.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Batch on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:47:05 From what I hear the amount of rubbing you do in the shower is shameful anyway. Two nuns in a bath. One says "Wears the soap", the other says "does a bit doesn't it". I guess that only works when spoken. Anyway, I am not ashamed of my rubbing! Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Talk Talk on Monday, February 15, 2010, 20:49:07 Two nuns in a bath. One says "Wears the soap", the other says "does a bit doesn't it". Particurly when the implication is 'where's the soap?' Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Processed Beats on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:22:05 2-0 now, game over methinks
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Bennett on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:45:26 burton is a nasty little bastard
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:46:42 Eileen is a slag!!!!!!!! we should be looking at 4 or 5 versus these little shits in 3 weeks time
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: suttonred on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:52:27 I actually think Charlton are the weakest of the top 7, wouldn't be surprised to see us, Millwall, and Huddersfield overhaul them.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:55:22 Charlton are folding like a cheap suit. We should have put them away 2 weeks ago.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Monday, February 15, 2010, 21:58:43 I keep expecting Colchester to drop away. I think Norwich are going to have a bad run before the season is out and Leeds will pick up again. Charlton do look poor and we should have done them twice with ease. All in all 2nd place has got to be our aim, but at the same time we could easilly fall out of the top 6 with a couple of defeats, it's going to be some second half of the season.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: suttonred on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:07:30 Need to make the next 2 home games count, as after those we have 9 away to 6 at home. Think we'll finish 5th, our only worry is if we have a run of injuries or suspensions, as the only sides i rate better than us, are Norwich,Leeds and Huddersfield.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:25:19 Why do you rate udders better than us? they couldn't beat us over two games? Colchester did look good when we played them but if we played them now i think we would beat them aswel, Leeds was a one off i think, it was a good time to play them.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: 4D on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:27:51 We could take 6 points off Leeds this season :)
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Doore on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:29:30 We could take 6 points off Leeds this season :) Obviously. Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: 4D on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:30:55 Good to see a rough and tumble game tonight, hopefully be a few of their players missing come 6th March.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Monday, February 15, 2010, 22:32:58 i think we will need to score three again to get anything against leeds next time around.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Saxondale on Monday, February 15, 2010, 23:55:29 Just on TV at the mo. Dominic Blizzard trying to break the leg of a charlton player. Nasty. Got away with a yellow.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Saxondale on Monday, February 15, 2010, 23:59:24 In fact he bloke mark vaseys leg. And got a yellow. Dirty bastard.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: santasdead on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 00:24:55 In fact he bloke mark vaseys leg. And got a yellow. Dirty bastard. That was a quality 12th second challenge/assault. Didn't one of the Bristol players get a broken leg too? I can't be bothered to look. Chris Lines i think. Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: reeves4england on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 10:28:07 It only mentions Vasey's broken leg on the BBC, although that doesn't mean a lot!
Here's the table... Code: 1 Norwich 31 34 66 Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Spy on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 10:35:18 We could do with thrashing either Carlisle or Stockport to sort out our goal difference.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 10:37:19 We could do with thrashing either Carlisle or Stockport to sort out our goal difference. Carlisle are in decent form at the moment. Would take a win against them whatever the score. Stockport is different and we should wallop them. Huddersfiled are the best side i've seen us against this season, it was only the fact we are a bloody good side we didn't get hammered. That and the fact i dont wear rose tinted glasses.....often Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: Summerof69 on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 13:55:35 Huddersfiled are the best side i've seen us against this season, it was only the fact we are a bloody good side we didn't get hammered. That and the fact i dont wear rose tinted glasses.....often They weren't that good at the CG. What I remember is that they rarely looked like scoring, mostly resorting to long distance shots. Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: penhill red on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 15:55:47 The wind spoiled the game a bit but we were definitely the deserved winners, carlisle will be a hard game, i would take a one - nil win from an own goal right now if i had the chance. just hope we can carry on being lucky with regards to injuries. When we lost Dougie we looked shite for at least three games.
Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: DiV on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 19:54:12 I'll bump this one.

I'm looking at the rest of our fixtures and shitting it, to be honest, if we can't beat Wycombe, Walsall and fucking Hartlepool. After our home bankers (soapy tit wank) against Brighton and Oldham we have Huddersfield A Brentford H Southampton A Millwall H Norwich A Swindon H Title: Re: Gas v Charlton Post by: suttonred on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, 23:47:14 I've never met a leeds fan that doesn't have a moustache.
