Title: Sunday Sport
Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, February 14, 2010, 13:26:54
I'm thinking I'll watch the first half of Bolton vs Spurs then flick over to the egg chasing. 5 minutes before kick-off and the Reebok looks empty. I'd guess there are about 10,000 there. Pretty shocking really, although I've no idea what they are charging for tickets.

I'm going to the Palace v A.Villa game later, should be good to have a premiership team in town and raise some much needed money for them.

Yeh, could definitely do them some good. They really do need to get bums back on seats at the moment given their finances, so a big performance today could do a lot for them in the long term too.

I was somewhat disappointed to find that this was not a thread about the esteemed publication from the late 80's/90's:

Another memorable headline :

and who can forget:

MUM GIVES BIRTH TO 8 POUND TROUT

LONDON BUS FOUND BURIED AT SOUTH POLE

LORD LUCAN SPOTTED ON MISSING SHERGAR

All priceless 8)

Rangers v Hibs on sky. Have a couple of first goalscorer bets to keep it interesting

Hell of a miss from Elmander there.

Watched a bit of the Winter Olympics earlier. Didn't realise a guy died on the luge on Friday.

Bring on the rugger later, we're gonna stuff those dirty eye-ties.

Love the winter olympics... Collisions galore in the speed skating, including a Korean 1-2-3 in the last corner until 3rd took 2nd out for 2 Yanks to steal the medals, including the brilliantly named Apollo Anton Ohno!

That's scraping the barrel even by their standards!

Funny though. 8)

I bought the 'London Bus Found on Moon' edition.

Although at 14 years old I probably didnt want to read about the London Bus.

I couldn't stop lauging at the Pfister (Silent P) brothers in the luge - and one of them is called Manuel (pronounced Manual) Fister. Comedy gold.
