Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: 4D on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 19:19:25 You can't beat a mix of sweet and savoury. This is no different to a cheese and chutney sandwich.
Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: suttonred on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 19:22:53 Worst thread title ever, surely shoving a banana up someones arse, is pushing something to it's limit? That's just a crap sandwich.

Post by: Batch on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 19:53:30 Think it's an Asian thing, we get chocolate and strawberry pizza and also banana and cinnamon pizza I assume there is no tomato on the base though? Right, Right? The Mrs has Christmas cake with cheese (cheddar or wenslydale). Then she is northern. Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: leefer on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 20:00:40 OOp north in the lincs area they often eat cheeze on fruitcake....tried it once and was nice but very filling.

Christmas cake should ONLY be eaten with cheese on it! Maybe this is my Northern upbringing coming through? Either way, it tastes great.Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: china red on Thursday, February 4, 2010, 00:16:47 I assume there is no tomato on the base though? Right, Right? The Mrs has Christmas cake with cheese (cheddar or wenslydale). Then she is northern. The problem is here that they use tomato as a fruit and not as a vegetable like we do. The week I arrived here I went to a restaurant and ordered a meat pizza, they misunderstood me and delivered a fruit pizza with a tomato sauce on the base and cheese on top. Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, February 4, 2010, 10:31:42 nothing wrong with a bit of jam in a cheese and ham sandwich if you need something fruity there's no chutney or pickle or cranberry about.
that said, my german dad (host family) looks at me funny if i put anything other than meat in between two slices of rye. Title: Re: Pushing wrongness to the limit. Post by: reeves4england on Thursday, February 4, 2010, 13:31:03 that said, my german dad (host family) looks at me funny if i put anything other than meat in between two slices of rye. Very true.
