Post by: Johno on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, 09:15:31
I got to leave my house at 11.30 for a maths exam, and i have been revisin obviously, and i actually know nothing.... just doing a past paper and forgotten everything  :( i know im no good at Maths, but to revise it all then forget the day of the exam is stupid!

Chill, Johno.....its all about technique, on a maths paper look through it and find the questions you know you can do best, answer these and then that'll get your brain warmed up.....then prioritise the remaining questions, leaving anything that's really horrible to last.

Always check your work......3 or 4 marks can be a grade.

It'll come to you Jonho, for Maths GCSE you have far to much time in the exam, so you can afford to take your time.

Don't take that too literally and spend 20 minutes on each question mind.

As Reg says, take your time, read the question twice and you'll be fine. Don't they usually give you way extra time anyway. If you do have time just check your answers again!

Good luck!

Good to here Johno boy  8)
I had a similar situation this morning but the exam was really kind to me and so I think I've done well enough to avoid a re-sit. Good luck with your others, it will all be worth it after though  :beers:
