Im not really understanding this, would the council pay for it, because if our money problem is so sucky, how would we be able to afford it?? :?

We aren't paying for it. The idea is to get a property developer on board who can use some of the land to build houses.

It should definetely be redeveloped.

i live in walcot and whenever they are opposing new stadia or cg developments we get post on why we should not support this why cant we start something where we send our own information out to people all over the town and really show people what this club means to us and how a succesful club can really change a town remember when we was there last time what a year that was

I think it would be a great idea to somehow inform EVERYBODY in Swindon of

>The benefit of the ground to all residents of Swindon
>The future of the cricket and athletics clubs
>Rough plans for the new ground (which kind of includes all other points)

I think the good people of Swindon need to be told how a new development would benefit them. They wouldn't get Elton John concerts without a football ground would they  :-))(
