Post by: Saxondale on Sunday, December 27, 2009, 00:13:45
For those of you of an Alt Country bent, a piece of You Tube of a wonderful writer and performer Vic Chesnutt.  Left in a wheelchair after a car accident aged 19.  Sadly died aged 45 on christmas day after an overdose.

I think a lot of people think the same.  He was very free with his time.  I met him at the bloomsbury theatre some years ago (as a double whammy I also met Mark Eitzel, another brilliant writer, who was with him).  He was as has been said a real gent.

There always seem to be a couple of deaths over christmas, but his is one that I genuinely feel sad about.
