Aunty are a bit good at documentaries, I mean stuff about science and stuff.

I have watched the Prof. Brian Cox stuff and am now watching "Earth story" which is cool.

I love animals and thoroughly enjoyed the "walking with" series and of course Attenborough rocks.

But what else is there on youtube that I might have missed?

Theres a current wildlife series on there which is good

Aside from the wildlife documentaries which are always very good,perhaps you'd like to watch these.

Firstly, Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain.

Secondly,BBC's Great Britons.(Churchill,Brunel,Lennon etc)

Finally,if you like current affairs you could do a search for BBC's Question Time or Panorama.

I will catch up with this thread tomorrow as it's past my bedtime. I do prefer the science stuff but I do quite like the history stuff as well and will definitely watch that as well.

look on google videos for "What we still don't know"

It's 3 parts all an hour long, about evolution, life, the future, intelligent design vs random. My favourite ever documentary series.

I did. I was just a puppy at the time.

Got the BBC book as well, I get it off the bookcase every few years and drown in Brownoski's intellect. A genius that man.

The scene at Auchwitz sticks in your mind forever.

I've seen Bronowski's book,but never the series,by all accounts he was a man of great intellect.

How sad that he died a short time after the completion of the series,but how poignant that he's
buried in Highgate cemetary.

BBCWorldwide have a youtube channel which has some ace old Doctor Who, loads of old wildlife documentaries and the brilliant 1981 Day of the Triffids series.

I watched that and loved it.

If you enjoyed that then you'd like "The Elegant universe - the string theory". Possibly the first time that I have come anywhere near to comprehending the string theory. It's not a beeb job but a yank one yet still pretty good.

BBC's 'Life' Series has been amazing.  Highly recommend that.

I never knew that the chariot was a British invention, I always though it was a Roman thing.

I think the BBC did/does well with Louis Theroux. That man is the coolest person under pressure on earth.

Memorable moments include Jimmy Saville and also that whore house in the desert in Arizona. I wanted to take that blonde bit away and nurse her back to full mental health (and get a load of bonking in on the journey).

We invented the chariot...then 2000 years later the Romans invented the road.

And another 2000 years later we invented the Segway.
