Title: Euro Tunnel '15 years' offer
Post by: dell boy on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 10:41:18
There is a great offer from Euro Tunnel to celebrate 15 years.

£15 return per vehicle, fantastic value to stock up for your Christmas and New Year booze or a cheap day out across to France.

The offer runs until 17th December for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departures.

Sweet offer.

Having said that, is it even worth going over to France at the moment for booze given the exchange rate? (Genuine question, I have no idea what sort of savings you'd make).

twisted economist.

The mental image of Gordon Brown trying to hijack the Prodigy for the election run in has just emtered my head. Why? I don't know.

I go every two months.

On average a bottle of wine at Tesco's in England for say £5.00 can be purchased in France for about £3.00 at Tescos France.
You can still buy cheap plonk for about £1.50 a bottle.
