I have to admit this isn't the best late night thread.

There was a time that they worked. But times move on, people get jobs, and the new bunch of students are too lightweight to post on here when they get home. Let's not pretend that STFC_Dave had pulled, he's just passed out.

I'm a student and I'm here, not been out though, been forced to get a fuckin job cos I've blown every single penny and have to be in at 9am so the fact I can't sleep and am full of cold is quite annoying.

I'd play the classic "you don't need to sleep get some beers in" card, but I know how much of a cunt it is when you could do with some rest but can't get it.

In fact that's pretty much my entire life, even if most of it is self sabotage.

Jesus it's gone half 5. I haven't not slept without substances for ages. It's all good.

I've only just logged on! Got up at 5.30, had a coffee and a fag and expected to browse the forum in solitude as usual (Apart from BKR).

I'm trying to stay up to get my sleeping hours back to normal. Problem is that it's only 6.30 and I'm on my second pot of coffee. I'm going to need a major re-wire to get to 10pm.

I've only actually been awake for 17 hours. Slept in Sunday morning. My sleep is fucked.

Mine too, but it's actually been fucked for years. No matter what time I go to bed, I still wake up between 4 and 6 every morning. Which is a bit of a pisser.

I actually record things off the telly the night before just so I've got something to do when I wake up. Dr Who this morning.
