I like close season, because it's summer and it's the cricket season, but you need football on dank November Saturdays, to lose a game to pointless international friendlies is just wrong.

Look up your nearest Non-League home game, call up a few mates and meet them in the club house from 1pm.  The rest of the day will sort itself from there.

I feel your pain Sam, and I'll raise you a been doing DIY every weekend since early July (bar a 3 week break when I went to the US).

I've been putting in evenings of DIY to. Had to replace a section of floorboard last night in readiness for a new carpet today. That was a job and a half.

Top car bits shop. I buy all my service and spares from them (even is they buy quite a few from Euro Car Parts at trade prices) because they are always helpful, get stuff in quickly and always as promised and their prices are lower than anywhere else in town.
