Prosecution lawyer Roger Daniells-Smith said King had struck up a conversation with his victim by saying: "Don't you know who I am? I'm a millionaire."

The court heard she replied: "I don't care who you are; take your millionaire self away from our table."

He groped the woman and she told him: "Don't do that, it's not nice. Don't touch me."

King was warned off her again but he continued to stroke the woman's hair and then told her she was not in his league, the court heard.

After she pushed him in the chest, King lost his temper and a moment of "completely gratuitous violence" led to him "smashing" the victim to the floor, jurors were told.

Was an interesting interview. Thought all the 5 live panelists paid far too much attention to his possible appeal, saying he might not be guilty. 13 people identified him, convicted in a court.

Hopefully he will appeal and his sentance will be increased further.

I reckon that everyone deserves a second chance. Lee Hughes did something terrible, served his time for it and now seems genuinely full of remorse and trying to make amends. So I don't have a problem with him, he had a second chance and appears to be making the most of it.

Marlon King on the other hand is a complete and utter cunt who should have been sent down for a lot longer and should be permanently banned from playing professional football. If they can't ban him then I just pray that every single club in the country tells him where to stick it when he goes knocking on their door.

Biggest joke is the fine and costs he's got to pay - its a tiny fraction of the money he'll earn whilst locked up until Wigan can terminate his contract and stop paying him. How the fuck can that happen?
