Title: Hotmail Help Post by: Chubbs on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 12:45:16 As allways ive let my emails go out of control, i think im touching on nearly 100,000 emails in my inbox, I know its only taking up a mear 10% of my inbox quota but i feel i need to do a bit of house keeping on them.
The question is, is there a quicker way that making my way through 800 odd pages of emails and deleting them page by page. What i mean is is there an opion to show more than 20 emails per page, or just a way of deleting the whole inbox in one fail swoop. I've had a look but cant see anything. Hotmail is purely web-based, not POP3 or IMAP, so you can't use an email client. Title: Re: Hotmail Help Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, October 22, 2009, 00:01:09 There's an easier way to do it. Download this from MS:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?FamilyID=9a2279b1-df0a-46e1-aa93-7d4870871ecf&displaylang=en Run it and then it will start outlook. Fill in the details and it syncs is all for you. I haven't tested for deletion of emails yet, POP3 didn't remove them from hotmail though :( |
