Title: Town fans of the future Post by: Summer of Noughtie Nine on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 14:44:10 Shame the kids who were given the free tickets on the Bank had to watch that performance. Not even a Town goal to celebrate. I wonder if they'll be back? At least they got some free percussion lessons.
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: chalkies_shorts on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 14:50:50 At least it will set their expectations for the coming years. We've had a barrel load of shit for years, why shouldn't the new generation?
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Arriba on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 14:52:23 should be done every home game.
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Summer of Noughtie Nine on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 15:15:49 I guess the kids must have counted towards the final attendance figure - otherwise there was no way there was over seven thousand in the ground.
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: tans on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 15:17:41 Well there not not going to count them are they??
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Summer of Noughtie Nine on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 15:20:08 I don't STFC should be used as an example of how to accurately record attendances at games (by paying customers or not) given our past record.
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Batch on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 16:06:33 should be done every home game. It is, free entry for the under 10s with an adult.Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Arriba on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 16:11:00 i meant in the stratton bank batch.
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Batch on Sunday, October 18, 2009, 16:17:30 Oh, right. Lack of roof would be an issue on a cold rainy day. Unless you mean for adults. In which case fair enough.

I disagree. It should be done for every away game. At least the poor little buggers won't get depressed. Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Monday, October 19, 2009, 20:15:50 At least it will set their expectations for the coming years. We've had a barrel load of shit for years, why shouldn't the new generation? I remeber my son's first game watching Town. We beat Grimsby at home 2-0, and I remember telling him not to expect it every week. Ten years later the poor lad's got used to us being shite. The opening game this season didn't help after watching us lose 5-0 as one of his classmates is a Gillingham fan. Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: juddie on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 10:29:39 I think it should be every game, but could they lose the percussion? F*cking irritating!
Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 11:43:04 I think it should be every game, but could they lose the percussion? F*cking irritating! OMG yes!!! although watchign some little kids dancing to it in the 2nd half was quite cute Title: Re: Town fans of the future Post by: Only Me on Saturday, October 24, 2009, 14:45:55 At least it will set their expectations for the coming years. We've had a barrel load of shit for years, why shouldn't the new generation? I know what you are saying, but the difference is that if you saw Swindon play crap at that age you would probably stick to your premiership days. I say let's get them hooked on supporting Swindon first, then disappoint them later. |
