I don't see why we should be upset about city's season ticket sales. At the end of the day Bristol is one of the largest cities in this country yet their most established football team currently plays third tier football.

A large proportion of Swindon's population have moved here or are the descendants of people who have moved here from other parts of the country.

We haven't lost to them since the 4th of October 2003.

I haven’t spoken to a single person in my life who finds a (proper) west-country accent ‘sexy’.

They spend vast amounts of money yet have achieved less than us in their short term-history.

Lets feel sorry for ourselves when we are fighting relegation and City are flying high, not 2 months before the season has begun. Don't get me wrong, I am a realist, but I'll make my judgements when 11 players run out wearing the red of Swindon Town during the first game of the season.  :D

Next season is gonna be our Battle of Britain.  Everyone's expecting shit times ahead.  But maybe, Pookie and Lapham and the other youngsters might play with some fire in their bellies, they might just show a little passion and pride in wearing the shirt.  Maybe we can get off to a good start and then who knows.

In many years to come, the people will look back on the 2005/06 season, and say that this was their finest hour.

Man Utd had exceptionally talented players though.  We have Pook.

I can't write any of my posts without thinking of it being said in a Geordie accent since i took our ex-midfield mincer to be my avatar...

Remember that cup game up at the Hawthornes when Evans was in charge?

Bobby Howe put in one of the best performances I've seen by a Swindon player.

How odd given his complete lack of talent.
