Title: True Blood Post by: michael on Thursday, October 8, 2009, 18:24:29 Anyone see it on Channel 4 last night?
It is about an alternate-present, where vampires live among humans, and instead of drinking human blood they drink this synthetic stuff called "Tru Blood". So far all the vampires have taken on human form, with not a single bat to be seen. From the first episode it would appear that the series is a metaphor for racial acceptance, but don't let that turn you off as there are also lots of fantasticly pert breasts on display. I enjoyed it and shall tune in next week. Jason Stackhouse = Fred Elliot. Keep watching and you'll see what I mean.......Somewhere around Episode 4 or 5 is just hilarious, but scary in equal measure. And there is something about Anna Paquin, with that sultry southern slut accent...... I've watched the whole series on FX. Yes, it's a bit weird in places, and it is certainly no Buffy,but it's worth sticking with. But the general consensus on here is it's not bad, so might have to give it a go. Can't beat Dexter and the new series of Bones started tonight, which is ace. However, season two really was excellent and had even more breasts which obviously helps.
