A group of Somali pirates has been captured after attacking a French navy ship by mistake, apparently thinking it was a harmless cargo vessel.

I'm surprised the French ship never surrendered

Why didn't they just shoot the bastards ? Now their Plan B for wealth accumulation will be.....as taxi drivers in Grimsby.

i'm not sure pirating could be considered a "transferrable skill" when taxi driving comes into the equation.

unless you're suggesting the somali pirates will try to pillage the natives of grimsby?

Well it's a bit far for starters.

Funnily enough, in the taxi business 'pirating' means illegally plying for hire so they should be ok. You'd be surprised how many Somali taxi drivers there are in this country. Failing that, we might find ourselves paying a ransom for a boat load of haddock in Grimsby port.
