Are they ok to use online? I thought they had gone bust?!

Cracking deal: http://www.zavvi.co.uk/games/platforms/pc/football-manager-2010/10053714.html

They did. Then another company bought the name and re-launched it as online only. So its safe.

Well I bought it from there, and have a confirmation e-mail at £17.95.

Yeah the shop went bust but online they're fine ala Woolworths.  It's probably another scenario where someone has bought the name for the reputation...

Browsing the Football Manager forums it seems most people have pre-ordered from Zavvi - I've done the same, can't argue at that price, though was tempted to trek to Asda at midnight on the Thursday just to make sure I got it on time!!

There's no demo for this is there? I haven't really got into the last couple of releases, the game is too slow and arduous to get any discernable reward out of it.

Isn't that like rebranding yourself as Peter Mandelson?

I've bought a number of items from TheHut.com, who now owns the zavvi site, and I've had no problems.
