Barca's new pie in the sky sea stadium plans:

Perhaps we could do the same at Coate?

Shame it won't ever happen, but I bet the architect had fun anyway.

Pointless, expensive and impractical. A bit like Neil Ruddock...

It's not that far fetched with the technology/industrial capability now proved and used several times (Airports, Hotels and Private homes in Saudi Arabia etc), plus quite a bit of Holland!  If they got a 50% increase in attendances then it could pay for itself in time.  The only puzzling thing is that I seem to remember the current site having plenty of room for expansion - suppose it's the need to demolish and rebuild - but then they could use the Olympic Stadium as a stop gap.

Jeez, if you're gonna get someone to visualise the stadium within a setting, at least get a decent 3D visualisation bloke on it. Must be some sort of 2 bob architect if there skills amount to mock ups of that quality innit.

They should build it on a huge inflatable and just let it float around the world.

They should build it on a huge inflatable and just let it float around the world.

... and then they could change their name to Bargelona. Muy bien!
