I listen to a fair bit of BBC ones (football, film and comedy mostly) but can anyone recommend me any others? It takes me an hour to get to work and sometimes I prefer talking to music :)

The World Football Phone In from Radio 5s Up All Night is pretty good.

The Collins and Herrings Podcast from my sig is amusing.

I'm a big fan of the World Football Phone-In.

I dont know if its available as a Podcast but Richard Bacon did live Stand Up at Edinbrough on Thursday,the stand up was rubbish but the radio show was brilliant.

If you have any interest in rugby the weekly RFU podcast is alright. Altho they do use it to promote sevens and give news on developing nations which you might or might not give a shit about. I haven't listened to it sincee the Lions lost the series but will prob get back into it when the Autmn internationals are played.

I'm going to do a podcast. Can't be too hard.

Dunno, I might give it a go. I'll probably give up if it's too hard to fill half an hour of empty noise.

You would have to break up the chat with words. I don't think you could pull off 30mins of continuous chat by yourself.

It will be both informative and amusing. I have set myself a challenge for tomorrow. And if this challenge exceeds my expectations of difficulty then I shall give up, like I do with everything else.

Back to the subject, Andews Colins and Richard Herrings is very funny.  Rambling bollocks but funny.  Like the TEF.  But funny.

Andy Zaltman and John Olivers Bugle is also very good.

Only other ones I get regularly are radio 5's fighting talk mayo and kermodes film reviews and radio 4's friday night comedy.

Cheers, I download the Kermode one. He wasn't on it this week and it's never as good. I hate Mayo though :)

Gone downhill a bit in the last year or so as their heads are starting to crawl up their own arses.  Still decent though.

I put my mind to being really good at giving up, but I just couldn't give it the dedication and effort it required.

I envy you Ben, you obviously have the staying power I sadly lack.

I've started listening and they are very, very smug. They often get facts wrong which winds me up :)

Greg proops smarmest man in the world podcasts are very entertaining but very american.  Robin ince and Josie Longs utter shambles as well.  Other than that, the same as last year - The Bugle, Mayo and Kermode, Fighting Talk, Friday night comedy from radio 4.

I've always been a fan of the Ricky Gervais show, and lately I've been listening to the Jon Richardson show. All the talking from him and his comedy guests, minus the songs played from his radio show. You can find the files here;

Jimmy Carr and some others used to do a podcast called the Writers Room, although I'm not sure thats available on the iTunes store anymore, but you can get audio only versions of 8 out of 10 cats shows, always a good laugh!

I don't normally do podcasts but I've been listening to the Infinite Monkey Cage recently.

I've started getting into the Nerdist group of podcasts paticualry Nerdist,The Indoor Kids and You Made it Weird.Also Jeff Garlins one is decent especially the Larry David one.

Yeah The Nerdist stuff is pretty good.

I'm pretty sure ol' Saxondale was babysitting Chris Hardwick when he was in London recently.

I was indeed.  He was very good.  Didnt know what to expect but when I saw an audience member turning up dressed as a weeping angel I kind of got the idea.
