Best to get a ticket before the game though, the ticket office is miles from the away end.

Nope the season before Dell...he was fine, a little merry but fine.

I'm definitely not going this year.  Im fed up of the crappy little stadium and the crappy away support every time.  It was embarassing to take that many and make no sound (that wasn't because there was no roof, we just didnt sing).

Yeovil is one of the crappiest away days in the league.

colchester used to be great, tatty pub on corner of layer road, terrace with low roof dead close to the pitch.

And wooden bench seats that bounced whe you jumped up and down,,,,Friday night memories of the past.

You can get the train in 3 and a half hours, but reservations always give you an hour to cross london, it's only 9 stops.

Wow, if I book now I can get the train from London for just over a tenner! (with a railcard)

Cheapest I can find is £36 with a Group saver. Probably can get it cheaper if you fiddle about and buy seperate tickets from different legs of the journey.

I agree yeovil is usually a poor atmosphere, even though we take a good few down there all the time - and usually the games are very poor. That said I will still be there and I would expect about 1,000 to go this time.

The old Shivvy Road loos were definitely larger could take more than four pissers at any one time.
The smell was very similar though ..... the good old days!!!

You must drive like a old woman! It used to take me an 1 3/4 hours to get from Swindon to Yeovil on a good run.

Early warning for those travelling to Yeovil tomorrow and planning to use the M5 around Bristol. They have just started major roadworks over the Avonmouth Bridge (J18-J19), and being a Saturday, traffic is likely to be very heavy on the M5 southbound mid/late morning. From personal experience, give yourself an extra 30 minutes (at least).

The roadworks will be ongoing to the New Year, so will affect anyone travelling to Exeter on the 29th as well.

Lane restrictions on the M5 are in both directions. They are about to re-surface the southbound carriageway over the Avonmouth Bridge, but affects both directions. Was a complete clusterfuck when I left work today......

M4 to Chippenham, onto the bypass at Bumpers Farm, head for Melksham & Westbury, A303 all the way to Yeovil.
