Pretty bloody stupid thing to do I reckon. Its going to give the BNP even more publicity and what happens if the BNP win? Plus you can be sure that the BNP will bring up every other organisation that has even vaguely similar rules, if similar action is taken against those organisations I'd imagine the BNP will go after EHRC for race discrimination.

It will all end in tears.

If it works, every black person in the country should join, vote themselves into positions of power and change the name of the party to something facile with the same initials.

There was a Turkish Cypriot BNP activist a few years back.  To be honest I reckon they'd take anyone who was anti-immigration and anti-islam, and there's plenty of black folk about that are.

They won't be able to - the BNP operate a cadre system so that only "special" members have full voting rights. Griffin was careful to reassure his democratic following at their recent RWB shindig that even if they do lose the case, any new "ethnic" members would not be able to vote on anything important. Presumably they were either all special members themselves or so "special" they hadn't worked out that also meant they didn't get to vote on anything important either. Such is the BNP's version of democracy

I think they should push further and try and get some positive discrimination in place.  Have a few regions where they can only vote on Black Muslim candidates, preferrably ones who were born in another country and can do crazy shit like speak another language.  They will of course have to stick to party policies publicly for the sake of unity and all.

As a Slav, I personally think this is total crap.  None of my family are offended by this, indeed my sis even ended a couple of texts with 'simples'.  I told her to stop doing it as quoting adverts is a crappy little thing only idiots do...she stopped.

Back to the orginal point, I actually find it offensive that people complain.  We are not all the same, we are all different.  The differences should not be a stick to beat people with, but should be celebrated...hence to me this advert is fine, and the BNP are a bunch of racist thugs who have no place in a civilised society.

If you ban or fundamentally change the BNP you disenfranchise a proportion of the electorate.  Argument and alternative political parties standing against them can be the only answer.

with regard the bnp The general poplution are to thick to do anything other than vote for the mainstream parties, of course that's if they bother to vote.
