Title: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Summerof69 on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:18:54 After last seasons non goal at Watford, the ref and 2 linesmen cannot spot the ball going in the back of the City net and bounce out from 8 yards.
And to top it off, Shitty score a last minute winner. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Rich Pullen on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:20:39 I still don't want "video technology" though.
Sometimes it works in your favour, sometimes it doesn't... it's that sort of skullduggery that makes football entertaining. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Summerof69 on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:25:04 I don't want video technology either, but how come 4 officials cannot spot something obvious is beyond me.
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Arriba on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:37:41 bloody crazy.city played to the whistle alright
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: ghanimah on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:48:25 'According' to City fans on their forum the Lino stuck his flag up right away but there's disagreement on why, whether for an infrigment, offside or that 'it didn't go in'.
I don't want video technology either if only because it allows decisions like this to happen which winds up Warnock no end. Good, the man's a cunt! Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Arriba on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:50:04 i dont get why people dislike warnock.i think he's ace
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Rich Pullen on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 19:51:18 I agree arriba, the FL would be dull without the likes of Warnock.
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: chalkies_shorts on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 23:22:06 Warnock is a complete cunt as is the fucking retard of a Chairman - the blond cunt. They deserve each other. I didn't think I'd see the day when I defended the Slave Traders but I do today. The goal could have been disallowed for a number of reasons but cunt Warnock goes straight on the attack. Its not this one incident that makes Warnock a cunt its the 20 year history that pre dates it.
I can remenber when he was manager of Notts County at a home mideweek game and the Town fans gave him and his team plenty. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: chalkies_shorts on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 23:37:22 Sorry just to reiterate that Warnock is a cunt and that bleach blond Chairman is also a cunt - forget his name. Warnock is the most hard done by manager ever in the history of the world. And Warnock you obnoxiuos, odiuos, son of a festering dung heap, you go on about a transfer embargo than maybe you want to talk to your festering cunt hole of a chairman / chairwoman.
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Bennett on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 09:28:29 simon jordan is his name and he's a massive bender
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hwkGWTD9zU warnock sounds reasonable in the interview, if a little bit mental Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 09:48:38 The fact that Warnock can conjure up that much hate is the reason I like him and hope his type exist in football for many years.
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Ginginho on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 10:24:50 I quite like Jordan and i'm warming to Warnock.
I used to hate Simon Jordan but I read an interview with him, think it was in fourfourtwo, he came across as alright and quite open and honest. If he doesn't like someone then he's quite upfront about it, I like that. Warnock was starting to do my head in bleating on about Tevez amongst other things, but he's been genuinely hard done by here, and Gary Johnson or the Brizzol players should have owned up at the time and not argued that it hadn't gone in, even though it clearly had. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: tans on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 11:03:36 I hate Warnock. He'll probably try suing the league now.
I find the whole thing hilarious on the way City didnt even own up 8) Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 11:14:27 On the other side, Bristol City are, as always, doing their bit to try and be a part of the media frenzy.
Their chairman will be giving his view on the incident on Sky Sports News today. I'm sure the nation wants to hear how Bristol City support goal-line technology and how they play to the whistle...zzzzzz. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 11:38:04 Did the ref give a goal kick or a free kick?
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Bennett on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 12:36:19 i think it was just play on as if it hit the post
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 12:46:26 Neil Warnock is right then. He shouldnt officiate again.
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Bennett on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 13:14:58 i believe a flaying is in order
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Summerof69 on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 13:20:10 I have mixed views on Warnock. There are times when he's a cock, but there are times, like this, when he's completely right.
One thing in his favour is that he speaks his mind, and just doesn't tow the party line. He's right about if it happened at the other end, and just imagine if it happened against Man Utd. Ferguson wouldn't shut up about it !! Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Bennett on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 13:22:30 i hated him and the tevez thing was stupid, but then he's started to see things the same way as me. which either means i've become a scopey or he's mellowed/not all the world is against him
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: STFC_Gazza on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 18:57:42 I would love for Warnock to be our gaffer! Wont ever happen but his team post match interviews are quality, never forget after the playoff defeat to Shitty Warnock saying "Ah they have a great bunch of fans except for the idiot who lumped me as I left the pitch" :D
BEST WARNOCK VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeQAzAp3dVo&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9UgbmuAWBY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0Z1PPFzLh4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQYuLiuGFyg Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: glos_robin on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 19:06:09 Don't really have a problem with Warnock and if I was in his position I probably would have smacked the referee. The biggest cock in this whole incident is probably that Sextone from shitty who came accross as a patronising cunt who just wanted to make it personal against Warnock and get some press coverage.
Don't blame Jordan or Warnock for calling Shitty cheats either as on all the replays you can clearly see some Shitty players running over to the Lino along with the Palace players trying make sure no goal was given. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: westcountry on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 22:40:05 was it in? :D
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: alanmayes on Sunday, August 16, 2009, 23:15:42 A reminder to Mr Warnock, the infamous Battle of Bramhall Lane.

Once again it's Crystal Palace, with a different response in tone from Terry Venables. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPc-Luq7LG8 Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: ReadingRed on Monday, August 17, 2009, 08:19:48 I'd hope that if the same thing happened to us as happened to Shitty, our players would allow the opposition through to score a goal to make up for the ref's error.
Maybe that's just me being old-fashioned though... Corinthian spirit and all that.. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: penhill red on Monday, August 17, 2009, 16:17:34 Warnock is his own worst enemy most of the time, I bet Johnson was pissing himself inside, would i fuck give him a free goal back the annoying twat, just for the comedy side of seeing him going off on one again!
Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: herthab on Monday, August 17, 2009, 16:33:35 Warnock is fucking brilliant! A passionate football man with a persecution complex.
'Any injuries? What a stupid fucking question, of course there's no injuries!' has to be my favourite quote. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: Rich Pullen on Monday, August 17, 2009, 18:02:10 Warnock is his own worst enemy most of the time, I bet Johnson was pissing himself inside, would i fuck give him a free goal back the annoying twat, just for the comedy side of seeing him going off on one again! Johnson did instigate such a gesture once before while Yeovil boss against Plymouth in the League Cup. Obviously, he's big time now and wouldn't dream of such a gesture these days. All of this will be long forgotten within a couple of weeks. Different situation in that game though it was a returned drop ball that accidently went in when passed back to the keeper, maybe a different manager he might have given them a goal. Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: jonny72 on Monday, August 17, 2009, 19:12:58 For me, making out that the ball didn't go in and not telling the ref it did is no different than cheating. I can't see any difference between what the Bristol City players did and Maradonna with his "hand of god". I would be more than just a bit pissed if the Swindon players pulled a stunt like that - I'd prefer to lose than win by cheating.

Title: Re: Bristol C v C Palace Post by: penhill red on Monday, August 17, 2009, 19:24:06 It certainly isn't going to get Johnson or City any respect from neutrals, i bet a referee will see to it soon that City get a bit of payback with blatant bias against them, can always rule out goals from corners for pushing without anyone really questioning it!
