Apart from the Old Firm there just isn't the money in Scottish football for the other clubs to challenge. Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United and maybe Motherwell who are fighting for 3rd have to make do with players from the lower leagues in England these days. I don't think I ever noticed players and even managers as far down as league one and two vying between Jocks Premier league quite like they have done over the past three years.
